Dissertation Blog Post 1

The Problem Statement:  As children we were always taught the importance of getting an education.  Parents, teachers, and even public figures preached that education is needed in order to succeed in life. We all know that education is important, but one of the things education is lacking is the fundamental skills of life. Implementing life courses within the educational curriculum will prepare students for the real world. As a Property manager and educator, I have had the opportunity to oversee students who are between the ages of  16-22 on a daily basis. When interviewing for a job, filling out a job, or applying for a credit card, the upcoming generation does not have any idea  or clue of where to start.
