Theoretical Framework For the topic that I will be researching I am aiming to show the importance of teaching life skills is necessary and imperative in order to help students transition into the working world.The research plan is to compare educational curriculum's from the late 20th century vs. the 21st changes. We will also will discuss the different types of learning that will have an affect on adapting to the real world. A qualitative approach will be taken to show the difference of people who were taught life skills vs. students who were not taught life skills. A survey will be distributed to assess their answers and compare who was ready to enter the working world.There are several general topics that will be explored as the groundwork for this dissertation: 1) The importance of education and why it is needed. 2)The importance of teaching life skills. 3)The outcome of teaching life skills 4) Research studies showing the effect teaching life skills. ...
