My research problem focuses on the importance of implementing life skills into today's educational curriculum. My goal was to highlight the need for life skills. Teaching life skills to children and teenagers allows for them to enter the real world prepared to handle "adult" situations. It has been felt that life skills education bridges the gap between basic functioning and capabilities. It strengthens the ability of an individual to meet the needs and demands of the present society and helps in dealing with the above issues in a manner to get desired behavior practical. As children we were always taught the importance of getting an education. Parents, teachers, and even public figures preached that education is needed in order to succeed in life.
